M/V "Sanco Chaser" was the first vessel in Sanco's fleet.
Sanco Shipping AS was founded in 1996 on the business idea that there was a need in the market for ships that could deliver bunkers and provisions to seismic vessels in operation.
This way the seismic vessels would avoid costly port calls. The founders were marine officers with 50 years sea service experience, in which 15 years on highly advanced seismic vessels.
Although loyal to the original business idea of support vessels, Sanco today also owns and operates highly advanced 2D and 3D seismic vessels working for some of the worlds most renowned geophysical companies
